Editing: Behind the Scenes Part II

I wanted to share the image that started it all for me, my son as Batman.

I was in the studio testing lighting for a session I had coming up, and he came running in in his Batman pajamas asking me to take his picture. I thought, "Sure, why not?" and snapped a few. He went back to playing with his toys, and as I was looking through them later I thought, "Hey, this could be fun!"

The "before" image:

I went onto a stock image website and found a few things I thought I could use (capes, masks, and a few images of "Gotham City"). Then, I opened up Photoshop and started experimenting. I am by NO MEANS a PS wizard, but I had so much fun learning and trying new things. (YouTube was a HUGE resource for me on this one.)

The "after" image:

Looking at it now, I know there are things I could have done differently or done better, but I still love the end result. Hey, we all have to start somewhere!
