Editing Behind the Scenes: Creating a Composite Image

I've been getting so many positive responses to my "behind the scenes" posts, and I thought I'd switch it up this time and record an edit for y'all to see how I do what I do.

Check out the video below to see how I took two separate images of my little guys, and combined them into one. My guys are normally GREAT in front of the camera, but they don't always like to sit down and take nice photos with each other. That's why this Momma is thrilled that she has some basic compositing skills. ;)

Although I do 99% of my editing in Lightroom, Photoshop is a must for situations like this.

Questions? Comments? Requests for upcoming "Behind the Scenes" topics? Let me know in the comments below!

Tools used: Canon 5D Mark iii, Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L, natural light, Lightroom 5, Photoshop CS6.
