What to Wear
If you're like me, when it comes time for family photos, figuring out what to wear can be as stressful as finding a photographer. Here are some of my recommendations:
Avoid Patterns. Your new LuLaRoe leggings are cute, but they don't always translate well in photographs. Please avoid large patterns, as they draw the eye away from the main subject of the photo-YOU!
Coordinating, Not Matching. Instead or wearing the exact same color, choose a couple of coordinating colors, and then choose clothes that will fit in this color scheme.
Keep Your Home Decor In Mind. Do you prefer bright colors? Neutrals? Since you will be displaying your images in your home, be sure the colors of your clothes go with the color scheme of the areas in your home where your images will be showcased.
Say No to Characters. Our little ones LOVE their character shirts, but you may want to skip it for the family photo session. Just like patterns, characters on shirts can be pretty distracting.
Keep It Classic. Chances are, these iamges will be hanging on your walls and treasured for years to come. By choosing simple, classic clothes you will help give your images a timeless feel.
